Contra mixers are used for homogeneous mixing of high viscosity and density products, particularly in the FMCG, drug and pharmaceutical industry for the production of items like toothpastes, creams, cosmetics etc. Contra mixers have two blades, which rotate in the opposite direction in contra motion for a thorough mixing. Contra mixers are also provided with jackets for temperature controlled application. We offer mixers with mechanical seal instead of stuffing box for main shaft sealing during vacuum operation. |
